But the fact is The Electrolux global design team had been looking for ways to incorporate recycled materials into our vacuums - UltraSilencer Green was the perfect foray into this category of ‘greener’ design,” said Randall Sandlin, general manager consumer experience and innovation for Electrolux.


Recycled plastic is just the beginning of what makes the UltraSilencer Green more environmentally-friendly. It also used packaging made from 80 percent recycled, unbleached cardboard and printed the manuals on recycled paper.

“The catalyst for UltraSilencer Green came from consumers’ requests for a more environmentally-sound vacuum, paired with Electrolux’s overall commitment to sustainability,” said Jackie Cooper, director of marketing and communications for Electrolux.
